Background
My name is Ita, born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria. I am a Product design graduate from the Belfast School of Art (Ulster University). As part of my studies I have completed two placement programs, each one lasting for a semester. The first, in Bauhaus Universität, Weimar, and the second one in Escuela de Arte San Telmo, Màlaga. Forever on the lookout for creative adventures.
Multidisciplinary is the word I would use to describe my practice. My preferred fields of work include Graphic design, Illustration and Editorial design, Product and Packaging design. My greatest strive is to give each design a meaning, to make each one purposeful.
Current works
Based in Sofia, Bulgaria, co-owning a restaurant called Nést, wearing too many hats at a time, and on the lookout for creative opportunities.
Inspiration
Change in its many forms and fashions is a huge drive for me. Diversity and variety are key for triggering the imagination. I find the greatest inspiration while being on the road, while being a professional explorer of unusual places.
